AcceleRAD Technologies (ART) Inc, located in Silicon Valley, known as the world’s center for linear particle accelerator technology, was formed to bring a viable supplier of high performing commercially
available linear particle accelerators (commonly referred to as “Guides” or “Waveguides”) to the medical radiotherapy & industrial imaging markets and to also bring innovation & tailored designs, to existing products that have seen very little change in the last few decades.
After two short years, ART has both X-band and/or S-band products in the US, UK, France, China and Africa. We are truly a global supplier and expect to soon have products in Russia, India and the Middle East.

Accelerator Physicist & Technical Advisor
Dr. Potter is a Co-Founder of AcceleRAD Technologies Inc, and is a world-class expert in accelerator and LINAC system design with extensive experience in both ion and electron accelerator system design and fabrication. He started his career at Los Alamos National Laboratory in the Meson Physics and Accelerator Technology divisions. Dr. Potter is a co-inventor of the resonantly coupled RF linear accelerator structures now used extensively in research, medical, and industrial applications. He has more than twelve patents in a diverse variety of fields including accelerator technology. His expertise ranges from computer simulations of cavity structures and beam dynamics to design and fabrication of complete RF linear accelerator systems.
He is the author of numerous papers in the fields of accelerator technology and high energy particle physics. Dr. Potter is a proven entrepreneur and went on to be a co-Founder and Research Scientist with AccSys Technology, which had a very successful exit to Hitachi. Dr. Potter’s next venture was JP Accelerator Works, a technology company dedicated to developing advanced accelerators, RF sources, and RF power systems, where he remains the CEO and owner. His companies have been the recipients of several SBIR and STTR Phase I and Phase II grants.
